“Rights in Review″ is the Centre for Law and Policy Research's annual review of key Supreme Court judgements. It critically analyses judgements relating to fundamental rights. It assess whether these decisions advance our constitutional mandate for a robust protection of key civil, political and socio-economic life and highlight their relevance and impact on our collective public life.
Cases are selected on the basis of whether they (i) extend or modify existing legal doctrine, (ii) apply the law to new factual circumstances or (iii) have a significant impact on public policy or affairs.
Rights in Review 2018 will be released in March 2019.
