Let’s All Go to the Temple

In this opinion piece for The Hindu, Vaishna Roy looks at the ongoing Sabarimala case to argue that religious customs which perpetuate social discrimination  should not be given sanction under the Constitution. She argues that religious practices in India substantially influence public culture , so discriminatory practices across religion cannot be given protection under the Constitution.
