Increased Vote Verification Through VVPATApril 1st 2019
Today, the Supreme Court granted 21 opposition parties time to respond to an affidavit by the Election Commission (EC). In its affidavit, the EC submitted that ensuring 50% VVPAT slip verification would lead to up to 6 days of delay in vote counting, in the upcoming general elections.
