Narendra Modi’s Biopic ReleaseApril 26th 2019
Today, a 3 Judge Bench of the Supreme Court stated that it would not interfere with the Election Commission’s order, stalling the release of Vivek Oberoi’s PM Modi biopic. On 19th April 2019, the Election Commission stalled the release of the film and all promotional content, citing the Model Code of Conduct (MCC).
In the previous hearing, the Election Commission submitted a report in a sealed cover to the Bench, detailing its findings.
The film is likely to be released at the end of May.
