Justice Manoj Misra was born on June 2nd, 1965. He graduated with a law degree from the University of Allahabad in 1988 and was enrolled as an advocate on December 12th of the same year. As an advocate, Justice Misra practiced at the Allahabad High Court primarily focusing on civil, criminal, revenue, and constitutional matters.

After 23 years of practice, Justice Misra was appointed as an Additional Judge of the Allahabad High Court on November 21st, 2011. Two years later, on August 6th, 2013, he was appointed as a Permanent Judge of the same High Court. Justice Manoj Misra was elevated as a Judge of the Supreme Court on February 6th, 2023.
